Q: Do we really get our own Producer and Director

A: Yes you get your own Producer and Director. Again with
over 30 years experience in the Motion picture, Entertainment
and video industry, we are simply the best. When we use
3 or 4 video cameras and sometimes even 5 video cameras,
you can be sure that it is video camera 1 getting the
action of the bride coming down the aisle and video camera
2 getting the reaction on the grooms face and from video
camera 3 from another angle as he watches her making her
entrance and progressing toward him and video camera 4
has the whole church as a full shot. Also the action of
the best man's toast from video camera 1 or the reaction
of the newlyweds laughter from video camera 2 and tears
of love from the groom from video camera 3 as he celebrates
their union. Also the action of the bride with video camera
1 and her father dancing with video camera 2 and the reaction

moving event, most block the video, stand in the way of
the video or always get up in front and block the video
view even if they have a zoom lens and honestly that is
just not Professional. So we offer Professional Photography

Q: What is High Definition or HD video?
A: It is the technology currently inspired by Hollywood
movies that without a doubt drastically increases the
picture clarity and quality which in turn makes the viewing
audience feel a feeling of being there live and in color.
There are 6 times the amount of pixels in a 1920 X 1080i
High Definition or HD video then Standard video or better
known as digital video or DV which is 720 X 480 pixels
or 480 lines of visible detail. The result of High Definition
is nothing short of PHENOMENAL. You get an incomparable
increase in Quality as HD displays a wide-screen, CINEMATIC
look and feel that can-not be compared to the obsolete
standard 4 x 3 digital video. The 16 x 9 adds more color
depth and reveals much more detail and creates a fully
intense and very DRAMATIC effect which adds 30% more visible
area and more screen viewing with a HDTV. Take 720 x 480
= 345,600 and divide it into 1920 x 1080 = 2,073,600 and
you get that factor number of 6, which is the number of
times that High Definition or HD video really displays.
Q: How important is sound?
A: Video is only 50% of any movie and the sound track
is the other half of every movie. We provide multiple
styles of different microphones to capture live audio.
Editing raw sound and the sound from around your event
together with music to suit the style and taste of your

Q: How do you feel about
working with a priest that myself and my family personally
know?
A: We are open to speaking to your priest at anytime so
we may provide the best professional wedding event without
effecting the church or your place of worship. As the
owner I also have my own personal priest that I can provide
as reference with verification of my faith to God. Feel
free to ask us at anytime as he is a wonderfully blessed
man who I love and respect.
Q: How come some of the other wedding events
companies aren’t as experienced as CustomVideoEvents.com?
A: Anyone can buy a video camera and an editing program
and call themselves a company, but that doesn’t
mean that they are a professional. What we noticed from
other wedding video companies was either, bad editing
with okay video, or bad video with okay editing. Not to
mention that the sound track in our opinion just didn’t
match at all the footage that was with the final product.
Because we are truly the best at video we unfortunately
must turn some business away or request that our customers
pick another planning date for their event if they want
use Custom Video Events. We are not fully happy with this
business style, but we refuse to sub out any of our video
events just to make more money, because that has never
been Custom Video Events policy. Every single second of
video is Produced, Directed and edited by Custom Video
Events and will always be done this way period.
Q: We notice that some of the other wedding or
event sites don't have as good of quality video as CustomVideoEvents.com,
why is that?
A: CustomVideoEvents.com only uses that lastest state-of-the-art
video High Definition or HD cameras along with best software
based editing and computer related equipment. As technology
changes so do we, this way we are always on top of the

Q: Why does CustomVideoEvents.com recommend that
when planning our wedding we use a wedding planner?
A: All packages include consultation and detailed planning
for your event with or without your wedding coordinator,
wedding consultant, wedding planner or event planner so
we may coordinate our professional video event with that
professional or yourself to optimize your wedding video
event experience. In order for everything to go perfect
and smooth, a wedding coordinator, wedding consultant,
wedding planner or event planner are the bridge between
making everything happen on time from the cake, flowers,
photographer, videographer to ceremony, post ceremony,
dinner, toasts, first dance, party and any interviews.
Regardless of whom you use, a friend, a family member
or even a DJ it is best that you have someone in charge
to coordinate your activities for your wedding day.
Q: How do I know that I
am getting real good experienced wedding videographer?
A: Unfortunately without having the education and experience
that we have you might not notice or even know that 99%
of the so called wedding videographers have no background
in the Motion picture industry or in videography at all.
A lot of these video wedding companies just purchased
a video camera, run some ad's and you the customer and
client have no way of knowing if that person is truly
a professional or not. But do these so called videographers
actually do weddings, yes they do. But they also have
no professional level of videography experience. Sadly
most so called video wedding companies are no more than
a weekend hobbyist and they are not a professional videographer
at all. The best way to confirm that they are a weekend
hobbyist is by telling them your wedding day is somewhere
between Monday through Friday, then see how they react.
I can honestly tell you that if weddings videos is all
they do, chances are they should not be the wedding video
company to videotape your wedding, unless having a "home
style” video is something you seek. However, if
you want a really professional "Hollywood Style”

about this discovery of nonprofessional vs professional,
is our prices in most cases is either the same or almost
the same as all the inexperience video wedding companies

always get someone that is over qualified rather then
someone that is not. If uncle John is not baking your
wedding cake and aunt Mary is not doing the wedding flowers
and you are therefore planning on working with a professional

Q: Why does CustomVideoEvents.com have about
approximately 4 week turn around on delivering the final
product? Why would it take so long?
A: First of all, every single photo and every single minute
of video has to be viewed by us to obtain 100% best results.
Which means, if we shoot 6, 8, 10 or even 12 hours of
video, it has to be logged in at a total of 6, 8, 10 or
even 12 hours of real time before any cutting and editing
can be done. Unknown to most, editing is where the product
meets the final end. This is just another creative process
of making a final product.
Q: Do you set up a big
screen and show our photos to music?
A: Many "so called wedding video companies"
offer big screen photo displays of how the couple met,
proposed, etc. As interesting as that might be, it has
nothing to do with videography. We provide a documentary
of your wedding day because we are professional videographers.
We are not the type of people that work a projector or
perform a slide show, because that is something that anyone
can operate and we find in high profile weddings that
is usually done by the wedding planners assistant. However,
we can add any photos you like to your professional photography
video DVD montage of your wedding that is made to popular
romantic music. Please NOTE: any wedding video company
that provides a photo montage with a Audio and Visual
show are not professional videographers, they are amateurs.
So be careful who you hire if you want a real Professional
Documentary wedding video, it is best to use a Video Event

Q: There are so many wedding
video companies how can I know I am getting the best for
my money?
A: Personally speaking out of the thousands of video events
or wedding video companies in America only a handful are
real professionals. Also please note if they don't have
High Definition or HD video camera format, or they only
have it as an option, then they are more than likey Amateurs
anyway. So be careful, many “so called wedding video
companies” only have HD as an option, which means
they have to rent those video cameras for the day of your
wedding. Being a professional requires years and years
of experience and education
that so many in this field just don't have because it
is either a weekend job or a hobby. Just doing weddings
and wedding alone does not make you a video professional.
There are many “so called video wedding companies”
that state much lower prices then we have, but ask youself
this, how could anyone provide a real documentary when
their video package price is lower than even a photographer.

Q: What if as Bride and Groom we decide at the
last minute that we want a wedding video is it impossible

such short notice?
A: It is not impossible, everything depends on if we have
an event to be filmed on that day or not. We have had
many Brides and Grooms ask us even at the last few weeks
before their wedding day if we can provide video for their
wedding. So when we aren’t filming a video event
we are editing projects in our studio.

or digital 8 video)?
A: We do-not use those formats because those formats are
very old and out-dated. We use High Definition or HD video
camera format and we are currently one of the only video
and wedding events companies that provides these services
in the Northern and Southern California areas. If it isn't
High Definition or HD video, it is out-dated. We can also
provide you with a film look or the normal HD video format.
Q: Do you
bring backup video camera equipment with you?
A: Always, we own 5 state-of-the-art HD sony 3CCD i1080 broadcast quality video cameras.

Q: Are there
any restrictions on the type of weddings Custom Video
Events will do by means of religion, such as Roman Catholic,
Hebrew, Islam, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Judaism or
any other religion?
A: We are a professional video events and video wedding
company. We provide professional services to anyone. We
simply love the video events business having worked in
the main stream motion picture industry, we have found
that private video events give us the creative element
that can't be obtain in the corporate world.
Q: How do I know if a video is right
for me?
A: First and foremost you have to ask yourself what are
the most important items for your wedding day. Is it the
food, the drinks, the music, the flowers, the photos or
the video. If one of those items is a video, then ask
yourself do you want a basic “home style”
video for the sake of having something on video? If your
answer is yes, then we are not the correct video events
company for your wedding day. We make a highly involved

Q: Why do
some video wedding companies provide full unedited ceremony,
toast, speeches and also unedited special performances?
Why so much of unedited footage?
A: When ever someone just
allows the video camera to roll as we say in Hollywood,
that is just what it is doing, rolling. Sitting there
and doing nothing but rolling. If it is unedited footage
you are not paying for a director or editors cut. You
are paying for the camera to just roll, with no highlights
and nothing that special. You are over paying for the
use of a video camera at that point and nothing more.
Even if these so called video wedding companies are claiming
"3 cameras of unedited ceremony” how can you
use 3 cameras without editing the footage? What do you
think they are doing, nothing more than placing 3 cameras
at the "toast and speeches” and then they all
point them in the same direction. Without it being edited
and by having all cameras facing the same direction it
is nothing more than 2 extra video cameras of the same
footage. Any wedding company that offers full unedited
or raw footage DVD's do not know what they are doing.
Please be careful, anything unedited is fully unprofessional.
Q: We noticed
that almost all of the other so called video event companies
or wedding video companies have just plain websites
that don't explain much except call for a price or we
have been doing romantic weddings for 5 - 10 years and
then state call us?
A: When you find websites that don't explain much, you
should not expect to get much, because if they knew
it, they would explain it. The reason they don't explain
much is because they don't know much which means they
are inexperience and clearly that is a sign that they
are not professionals and only amateurs.
Q: We noticed
with some of the other so called video event companies
or wedding video companies they use effects like black
& white on someone when suddenly they show them
with a very colorful dress or the colorful flower display
goes from black & white to color. Or they use the
16mm film effect on a beautiful day. Why would anyone
do that?
A: In our professional opinion, black & white is
good for a black & white ballroom to enhance the
depths of the room. It should never be used to just
to be used so you have made an effect. Using an effect
to enhance the clip is one thing, over using effects
is just not professional and does not allow the emotion
of that second to come out natural. As far as the film
effect we only do that when appropriate.
Q: If I
decide to have Custom Video Events provide 2 or 3 days
of my honeymoon after our wedding video, what can I
expect it to be like?
A: First of all just envision having your own personal
film crew Producing and Directing a "Hollywood

our professional video event with that planner to optimize
your wedding video event experience.
Q: Do you
edit the video tape after the event?
A: Yes in our own video studio where we can take our time
to craft your "Hollywood Style” theater movie™.

wedding video companies claim they can provide us with
our wedding video in 1 to 2 days, is that possible?
Q: Anyone that claims they can edit a wedding video or
any professional video in that time frame are amateurs.
Putting a video together in one day is like doing a home
movie. First and foremost, any one of our video events
takes a lot of time to make it truly a Cinematographic
Masterpiece. Editing a video can take a week to 4 weeks
and even longer to make it perfect. We edit your event
in rough and walk away and visit it on and off again until
it is perfect. We always have several video events going
on at once so our method of editing video is very common
place in Hollywood. This type of editing takes a lot of
time to make it professional. Even doing a professional
motion picture takes a lot of time. If you were to make
a full motion picture in Hollywood it would take almost
two years and that is with hundreds of professional people
working in sync right alone side you. To obtain your Cinematographic
Masterpiece in our time frame is normal.
Q: Who keeps
the raw footage?
A: We do which we delete within a short time after delivery
of your final copy. This is done to protect your master
wedding tapes from being lost or stolen. We also suggest
that you order bulk copies of your wedding with your wedding
package to ensure that you will always have enough copies
to share with family and friends in the years to come
which you can buy as a option.
Q: Cost of

Q: There
is so much information on weddings and personal wedding
planners or consultants, how can I find the right one?
A: First of all we have the right people for you to

make a photo montage? If so, what is your price?
A: We make a wedding montage and it is included in some
packages or you can buy it as a option.
Q: I am
nervous about being in a video as I have never ever
done anything like this before, what do you suggest?

your video samples are so perfect, clear and smooth
and professional looking?
A: We have more experience than any other video events

the day is we can use our color correction in Final

charge for travel too?
A: At Custom Video Events we accept travel to the South
bay, North bay, Wine country, East bay and in and around
San Francisco as a normal part of our services. We also
provide travel to all cities in Southern California
as a normal part of our services. We do not charge extra
for travel to those locations. In our opinion wedding
video companies that charge for local travel like this
are not professionals. As the owner of Custom Video
Events I wouldn't have it any other way and because
we are professionals and never charge extra for local
travel. We have two studios that provide us with professional
results which are located in Northern and Southern,
CA.
